There are nine fields of studies: archeology, information architecture, archives and documentation management, ethnology – cultural anthropology, history, history of art, Scandinavian-Baltic Studies, military science, information management and book studies. The Faculty runs programmes of studies which are unique at both national and European level. We offer full-time and part-time – first and second cycle programmes, doctoral and postgraduate programmes. Our students can choose from a wide variety of specialisations which allow them to broaden the scientific horizons and acquire extensive professional competencies. We also teach foreign languages: Norwegian, English, German, French, Russian and other. Students can develop their passions and interests in many research groups.
The Faculty of History guarantees and ensures high level of internationalization of didactic offer and research. Along with the study visits of foreign professors, we offer mobility grants within ERASMUS program and other forms of international cooperation. Apart from that, we facilitate studies in other educational centres in Poland by participating in MOST student mobility program.
