Palaeolithic and Mesolithic archaeology, with particular emphasis on:
- Micoquian culture in Poland on a background of Central Europe,
- settlement of Częstochowa Upland in the context of palaeoenvironmental conditions,
- cave sites,
- silicite raw material, especially from the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland
- chocolate flint mine in Udorka Valley
