The responsibility of the Dean is the Faculty governance and in particular:

developing the Faculty’s strategy
representing the Faculty outside as authorized by the Rector
ensuring the correct course of the learning process
summoning and presiding over the Faculty Council
ensuring the implementation of the Faculty Council resolutions
allocating the Faculty funds in accordance with the University internal rules
supervising the activities of the Faculty organizational units
undertaking steps ensuring proper functioning of the Faculty
implementing the Faculty personnel policies and procedures

The responsibilities of the Vice-Dean include:

Initiating and implementing activities related to the internationalization of the Faculty
Initiating and coordinating cooperation between the Faculty and external stakeholders
Coordinating the operation of the external stakeholders’ councils within the Faculty
Supervising grant acquisition activities
Overseeing the preparation of the Faculty’s disciplines for the evaluation of the quality of scientific activity
Initiating and supervising the Faculty’s promotional activities
Identifying, analyzing, and assessing risks related to the Faculty
Performing other duties assigned by the Dean

The responsibilities of the Vice-Dean include:

Making decisions on student matters in accordance with the Study Regulations of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń
Handling other individual student matters within the Faculty
Supervising the activities of student research groups, the Faculty Student Council, and the Faculty Scholarship Committee
Overseeing the internal quality assurance system in education at the Faculty
Coordinating and supervising the development of the Faculty’s educational and curricular offer
Coordinating accreditation processes for study programs offered by the Faculty
Performing other duties assigned by the Dean
